Click to enlargepadAn exciting seafaring strategy game for two players, ages 7 to adult. Its inspiration: the 1784 disappearance of the brigantine El Cazador as it sailed from Mexico to the Spanish-owned Louisiana territory with a fortune in newly minted silver coins. In 1800, still hurting financially from the loss, Spain ceded the territory to France to avoid war. Three years later, Thomas Jefferson purchased the million-square-mile territory from Napoleon for 3 cents an acre, doubling the size of the U.S.! The game is played with dice and “silver Reale” playing pieces on an oak gameboard. Can you beat the odds of chance, or will your treasure be lost at sea? 12"l x 4 3/4"w. Made in the U.S.A.
